Thrive In Your Work & Life

Life’s stresses can often leave us feeling overwhelmed, especially when managing the pressures of a demanding career alongside personal challenges. The Corporate Haven provides a safe space with a qualified therapist who has over 20 years business experience, and truly understands how the pressures of the business world can impact your life. I will bring this unique perspective to offer you a safe, confidential space to park and unpack your stuff with a fellow professional.

While I specialise in supporting professionals navigating high-pressure or corporate roles, I am committed to supporting anyone experiencing emotional distress, whether related to the workplace or not. As well as working at senior level in the corporate world, I also have 10 years experience working in mental health for various crisis and support charities. I’ve worked with people facing a wide range of difficulties including low self-esteem, bereavement and loss, anxiety and depression, and relationship issues.

Like most of us, I juggle multiple roles in my life. Outside of my work, I’m mum to two boys, and a proud northern lass with an unshakeable love for markets, indie music, and life’s simple pleasures.

A Warm Welcome To Everyone

  • “Not only did Louise speak from the heart, she was a master at helping me understand where mine was at. Through her remarkable listening skills, she was able to uncover more than what appeared at the surface and got to the core of my issue. This opened up a new understanding for me and created an immediate sense of calm. I am so thankful and highly recommend Louise's amazing abilities to get you to the other side.”

How The Sessions Work

A Person-Centred Approach

I am a practitioner of person-centred therapy. This means that all our work focuses on and is tailored to you as an individual, whether in your personal or professional roles. You are the expert on you, my role isn’t to give advice but to listen and understand experiences from your perspective as far as possible. I will work hard to stand beside you during our sessions and:

  • Build an empathic, non-judgemental relationship where it is ok not to be ok

  • Provide a confidential space to explore your thoughts and feelings

  • Empower you to find your own solutions

  • Help you develop greater self-awareness

If this sounds like the therapy you want to engage with, or if you want to find out more, please get in touch using the form below.

Engaging With The Service

I will respond to all enquiries within 24 - 48 working hours, where we can have a chat to discuss your needs and arrange an initial session.

In our initial session we’ll determine if we’re a good fit and will outline how our sessions will work. These sessions are designed to welcome you and address any initial concerns or issues. They allow you the opportunity to explore what has brought you to therapy and what goals you have from our work. This initial session lasts for 50 minutes and has a reduced upfront fee of £40.

After our initial session, we can then book our ongoing regular sessions. These sessions are typically weekly and are fully remote, delivered either through telephone or secure video platform. The sessions focus on alleviating emotional distress and achieving your specific goals, following the approach detailed above under A Person-Centred Approach. Everyone’s therapy experience and requirements are different, so the number of sessions we have together completely depends on your needs, and there are no obligations to commit to a particular number of sessions. Our regular sessions last for 50 minutes and have an upfront fee of £70.
