“Therapy is like going to the gym for your mind and your heart. It helps you gain perspective, take a step back, explore things - safely, confidentially and with no judgement. It helps to free you, find a way forward and discover things about yourself. Therapy is what therapy says - it’s there to help you make things better, achieve more or cope with what you might be going through.”

Louise Fearick - BACP registered therapist.

Online Therapy

Finding the time to prioritise your mental well-being can be challenging. That’s where online therapy comes in. With The Corporate Haven’s online therapy, you can conveniently access professional counselling services from a space where you feel comfortable. It provides you with the flexibility to fit therapy around your schedule without having to find the time for travel to a physical location.

As a professional with over 20 years business experience, I specialise in supporting professionals navigating high-pressure or corporate roles. However, I am a qualified therapist committed to supporting anyone experiencing emotional distress, whether related to the workplace or not.

As well as working at senior level in the corporate world, I also have 10 years experience working in mental health for various crisis and support charities. I’ve worked with people facing a wide range of difficulties including low self-esteem, bereavement and loss, anxiety and depression, and relationship issues.

A Safe Space to Unpack

In today’s fast-paced world, we’re often juggling multiple roles and responsibilities, which can quickly become overwhelming. When challenges in your personal and professional life start to pile up, it’s easy to feel stuck.

Therapy offers a safe haven like no other:

  • Confidential space to get things off your chest or out of your head

  • Separate from the life we lead: Sometimes we don’t want to talk to the people in our world – we might not want to worry them, hurt their feelings, be judged or feel compromised.

  • A therapist is professionally trained in how to listen and support problem exploration and work with your feelings.

  • Psychologically safe – you can express yourself and take risks without fear of the negative consequences you might feel in other situations or with others in your life.

  • A way of exploring what’s going, understanding more about situations, challenges, decisions, how you and others are feeling, behaving and doing things.

  • A way of finding solutions, answers and making changes that work for you.

  • Experience an empathic relationship where it truly means it’s ok to not be ok, and there’s zero judgement.

In Your Personal Life

How Does Therapy Work?

You are you. You are the expert on your life, what it’s like to be you. It’s my job to listen and to understand as far as possible, what that experience is like for you. I do the work to stand beside you during the therapy sessions to explore your perspective, your experiences and what this means for you. For this reason, I deliver “person-centred” therapy.

This approach:

  • Focuses on you as an individual

  • Provides a non-judgemental space to explore your thoughts and feelings

  • Empowers you to find your own solutions – it’s not about techniques or advice.

  • Helps you develop greater self-awareness.

It’s my goal to foster a trusting relationship with my clients so that they feel fully heard, understood and not judged. That’s why my business is called “a haven” because that’s how it should feel working with me – that you’ve found a safe, confidential space to pause from life for a while,  stock up your supplies, and set your course so you can sail away in the right direction.

What Others Have Gained From Therapy

‘We need to get rid of this idea that therapy is just for people with something “wrong” with them. You can go to therapy if everything is fine and you want to keep it that way, you can go if you want to become the best version of yourself and you can go for no reason at all.’

Steven Bartlett - Entrepreneur and Investor

‘Talking to somebody just helped me out a lot. As a man, you get a lot of slack for it….I don’t really subscribe to that. Everyone needs to unpack and talk.’

Michael Jordan - Businessman and former basketball player

“I'm on a constant path of self-discovery and change. I'm trying to become a better person, a nicer person. I love therapy - it's brilliant.”

Julia Sawalha – Actress and Businesswoman
